Kimi Antonelli holds a commanding 81-point lead in the 2026 Formula 1 Drivers’ Championship with 292 points after the Spanish Grand Prix, far ahead of Mercedes teammate George Russell on 211 and Lewis Hamilton on 191. The 20-year-old has secured multiple victories this season, including a dramatic comeback win from 19th on the grid at Monza and a Spanish Grand Prix triumph that further extended his advantage. Mercedes’ superior pace under the new technical regulations has enabled consistent front-running results and strong qualifying performances. Trader consensus reflects this dominance, pricing Antonelli at over 90% implied probability. Realistic scenarios that could still shift the outcome include major reliability failures, repeated crashes, or an unprecedented surge by rivals closing the gap over the remaining rounds.
