Early-season results in the 2026-27 OTP Bank Liga have produced a wide-open race for second place behind likely champion Ferencváros. Defending champions Győri ETO, Puskás Akadémia, Vasas, and Újpest currently occupy the top spots after the opening rounds, while Ferencváros sits fifth despite its deeper squad and European commitments. The triple round-robin schedule, roster continuity across mid-table sides, and limited separation in recent form have prevented any single club from pulling clear. Trader consensus around 50% implied probability for multiple teams reflects this parity and the potential for momentum shifts over the remaining 25 matchdays.
