**Early 2026/27 Premier League results have created a wide-open sack race, reflected in the tightly bunched probabilities around 45-55% across most managers.** A record number of new appointments this summer—including Alvaro Arbeloa at Fulham, Oliver Glasner at Nottingham Forest, Xabi Alonso at Chelsea, Enzo Maresca at Manchester City, Andoni Iraola at Liverpool, and others—has introduced significant uncertainty, with several sides showing poor form after the opening fixtures. Fulham sit winless at the bottom after three defeats, heightening scrutiny on Arbeloa amid reports of squad unease with his methods. Tottenham under Roberto De Zerbi, Aston Villa with Unai Emery following a disruptive summer, promoted sides like Coventry under Frank Lampard and Ipswich under Gary O’Neil, plus Manchester United with Michael Carrick, have also faced early setbacks that keep multiple candidates in contention. Ownership volatility at clubs like Forest and the typical pressure on new or high-expectation roles further distribute risk, preventing any single manager from pulling clear in trader consensus. The situation remains fluid given how quickly results and injury situations evolve.

If the listed manager is the first manager to be officially fired, dismissed, or sacked by their respective Premier League club during the 2026-27 season, this market will resolve to "Yes". Otherwise, it will resolve to "No".
If multiple managers are fired on the same calendar day, resolution will be based on the earliest official announcement time.
If a manager resigns, mutually agrees to part ways, or departs for another job, this will not count as being fired, and that will not qualify as "Yes" for this market.
If no Premier League managers are fired by May 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "Other".
The primary resolution source will be official club announcements or official Premier League communications. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
