Shakira’s two nominations—Choka Choka with Anitta at 38.5% implied probability and Dai Dai with Burna Boy at 33%—drive current trader sentiment in the closely matched VMA Best Latin field ahead of the September 27 ceremony. Choka Choka benefits from April release timing, Anitta’s SNL debut performance, and high-profile live shows that boosted streaming and fan engagement, while Dai Dai gains crossover visibility through its additional Best Collaboration nod. The remaining nominees, including Bad Bunny’s Nuevayol (17%), Rosalía’s La Perla (8.5%), and entries from Karol G, Fuerza Regida, and Ryan Castro, trail amid a competitive landscape shaped by regional chart performance and limited recent momentum shifts. Fan voting through September 25 remains the key swing factor in this tight race.
