Official measurements from Environment and Climate Change Canada placed Toronto’s highest temperature on September 2 at 28°C amid a day of variable cloud cover, southwest winds, and scattered thunderstorms that limited daytime heating. This reading aligns with model consensus and surface observations, producing the market’s 100% implied probability for that exact threshold. Trader consensus reflects the final verified data release, as prediction markets aggregate capital-backed assessments of official criteria rather than forecasts. A realistic challenge would require a post-publication correction from the primary reporting station or a shift in how the daily maximum is calculated across the network, though such revisions remain rare once initial quality-controlled values are confirmed.

To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C.
This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source.
The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market.
Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
