Corbin Carroll holds a commanding lead in the MLB triples race with 16 through early September, eight more than the nearest pursuers, reflecting trader consensus on his unmatched combination of elite sprint speed, aggressive baserunning, and consistent gap power as an Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder. His home-to-third times rank among the fastest in the league, building on prior NL triples titles from 2023-2025 and a career pace that already makes him the active leader. Recent form shows continued production despite a .240 average, with limited late-season opportunities for challengers like Chandler Simpson or Luis Arraez to close the historic gap. An injury to Carroll or an improbable surge by multiple contenders could narrow the margin, though his established edge makes such shifts unlikely before the regular season ends.
