This market will resolve according to the team that wins the 2026 MLB American League Central division. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the team whose listed nickname comes first alphabetically. If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to be named the 2026 American League Central division champion per the rules of the MLB (e.g., they are eliminated in the playoffs), the corresponding market will resolve to “No”. If the 2026 MLB regular season is cancelled, postponed after October 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The primary resolution source will be official information from Major League Baseball (https://www.mlb.com/); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.**Chicago White Sox hold a slim lead in the AL Central at 77-74, half a game ahead of the Cleveland Guardians at 77-75, with the rest of the division five or more games back.** The White Sox have maintained at least a share of first place since early July, supported by strong run differential, a potent offense featuring multiple 30-homer contributors, and solid home performance. Recent head-to-head results, including a Guardians walk-off win that narrowed the gap, have kept the race alive into the final weeks. The Guardians remain competitive through late rallies and pitching depth while also clinging to a wild-card spot, but the White Sox’s positioning gives them the edge in trader consensus for the division title. The bottom three teams face steep deficits with limited games remaining.
