This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 MLS Golden Boot. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLS rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLS season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026 ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Soccer; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.**Lionel Messi leads the 2026 MLS Golden Boot race with 19 goals for Inter Miami, ahead of Petar Musa’s 18 for FC Dallas, reflecting trader consensus on the Argentine’s sustained scoring rate and playmaking edge.** Messi has added multi-goal outbursts, including four against CF Montréal, while maintaining double-digit assists and driving Inter Miami’s high-output attack. Musa has stayed within striking distance through consistent finishing and recent contributions like braces and assists for Dallas, though a minor upper-body issue briefly disrupted his rhythm. The rest of the field trails by four or more goals, limiting realistic paths for players such as Brian White, Sam Surridge, and Tai Baribo despite their solid tallies. Remaining fixtures, team form, and individual minutes will shape whether the gap narrows before the regular season concludes.
