**Sweden Democrats maintain a narrow but consistent polling edge over the Moderate Party in the final weeks before the September 13 election.** Recent surveys from Indikator Opinion, Demoskop, Ipsos, and others show the Social Democrats leading overall at roughly 30–31%, followed by SD at 19–20% and Moderates at 17–19%, with the gap between SD and M typically within the margin of error but favoring SD in most aggregates. The right-wing Tidö bloc has narrowed the opposition’s lead since June amid campaign emphasis on crime, immigration, security, and living costs, yet individual party trends keep SD positioned for second place. The Liberals remain below the 4% threshold, while smaller parties show limited movement. Trader consensus reflects these late-campaign dynamics, with SD holding the implied probability advantage for finishing ahead of the Moderates.

This market will resolve according to the political party that wins the second-greatest number of seats in the Swedish Parliament (Riksdag) in this election.
If voting in the Swedish parliamentary election does not occur by December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "Other".

If parties remain tied, ties will be broken by alphabetical order of the listed party abbreviations. This market will resolve to the party that occupies the second finishing position after applying this ranking.
This market will resolve based on the results of this election as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the Swedish government, specifically the Swedish Election Authority (Valmyndigheten) (https://www.val.se/).
