Chandler Simpson and Nasim Nuñez sit atop the stolen bases leaderboard at 46 each entering the final week, driving the market's tight split between their implied probabilities. Simpson has maintained strong contact and on-base skills at .309 while adding five steals over his last seven games for the Rays, positioning him for additional opportunities in a schedule that includes several contests against teams with weaker defenses. Nuñez has paced the Nationals with consistent base-stealing volume despite lower batting average, though recent games show fewer attempts amid lineup adjustments. Bobby Witt Jr. trails at 43 but faces a shorter window to close the gap with Kansas City's remaining slate. Trader pricing reflects these late-season playing time and matchup dynamics over historical pace.
