Official observations from National Weather Service stations in the Seattle area recorded a daily maximum of 68–69°F on September 2, 2026, aligning with cooler-than-average marine air influence and persistent low-level stratus that limited daytime heating. This outcome matches the historical climatological range for early September under similar synoptic patterns, where onshore flow from the Pacific typically caps highs near 70°F. Market-implied odds reflect high trader confidence in these verified measurements, with minimal uncertainty given the event’s completion and standard quality-controlled data protocols. A late data revision or use of an alternate station reporting a different peak would be required to shift resolution, though such changes remain rare once preliminary climatological summaries are issued.
