Recent late-August 2026 polls for the Amazonas Senate race show Eduardo Braga (MDB) leading overall with 25-32% in combined or first-vote scenarios, while Capitão Alberto Neto (PL), Plínio Valério (PSDB), and Wilson Lima (União Brasil) remain in technical ties or close contention for second place at 10-19%. High undecided shares (12-17% or more in spontaneous responses) and regional fragmentation sustain the closeness, with Neto drawing stronger Manaus support and Braga or Lima performing better in the interior. Elevated rejection for some frontrunners and the October 4 first-round election date further limit separation in trader consensus. Additional polling releases or campaign shifts before voting could alter positioning among these clustered contenders.
