You agree to the terms of service below, and the Terms of Use for Substack, the technology provider.
Clause 1: Definition of Lifetime Access
“Lifetime Access” (including any TCV Founder Circle Lifetime Pass) refers strictly to the active publishing lifetime of The Cancer Vigilante publication. It grants digital access to subscriber-only articles, audio podcasts, and video archives for as long as the publication is actively produced and hosted on Substack or its successor platform. “Lifetime Access” does not constitute a guarantee of the author’s personal biological lifespan, nor does it guarantee perpetual content production in perpetuity. In the event that publication activities are concluded or retired, access to previously published digital archives will be maintained for a reasonable sunset period, satisfying all operational obligations.
Clause 2: Feature Modification & Substitution
The Cancer Vigilante reserves the right to adapt, modify, reschedule, or substitute specific subscriber deliverables – including patient interview podcasts and live community features – based on research availability, source feasibility, and editorial focus. If a specific format becomes unavailable due to external factors, equivalent deep-dive research content or alternative video/audio analysis will be provided in its place without triggering refund obligations.
Clause 3: Discontinuation, Termination & Sunset Protocol
The Cancer Vigilante reserves the right to suspend, terminate, or sunset the publication, specific membership tiers, or associated community features at any time. Upon permanent cessation of publication, all recurring billing will be cancelled immediately, and one-time Lifetime or Founder pass obligations shall be deemed fully fulfilled and concluded without further financial, clinical, or editorial liability.
Clause 4: Scope of Research & Medical Disclaimer (Mandatory)
All materials published by The Cancer Vigilante – including written articles, serialized investigations, patient interview podcasts, and Substack Chat discussions – are strictly for independent educational, scientific, and research purposes. Nothing contained in this publication constitutes clinical medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or patient-care consulting. Readers and subscribers must consult qualified healthcare professionals for individual clinical decisions. Participating in podcasts or the Founder channel does not create a doctor-patient or consultant-client relationship.
Clause 5: Scope of the Founder Channel & Research Direction Input
The Founder channel and topic-suggestion features allow Founding Members to propose general research topics, theoretical biological mechanisms, and scientific paradoxes for exploration. The author does not provide individual case reviews, personal medical file evaluations, or customised treatment recommendations through this channel.
