PQ leads recent polling averages at 28–30% and holds a clear edge among francophone voters, driving its 71.5% market probability for the October 5 election. The CAQ, now led by Premier Christine Fréchette following François Legault’s resignation, has gained ground during the campaign and sits near 24–27%, largely at the Liberals’ expense. The federalist vote remains split between the CAQ and PLQ, while the PQ benefits from by-election momentum and regional strength that favors it for a plurality or minority government in seat projections. Upcoming debates and voter priorities on affordability, immigration, and language policy could still shift momentum before election day.
