Courtland Sutton enters the 2026 NFL season as the Broncos' veteran wideout facing heightened target competition after Denver acquired Jaylen Waddle in March. The 30-year-old has posted 7-10 receiving touchdowns in each of the prior three years while catching passes from Bo Nix under Sean Payton, but projections now center near six scores amid a deeper receiving room that includes Pat Bryant, Troy Franklin, and Marvin Mims. Sutton retains his role as the top red-zone threat and has drawn the majority of early snaps, though his Week 1 output was limited to two catches for 11 yards. Contract flexibility moves by Denver and load-management practices in training camp add minor context, while the team's offensive line, run game, and schedule will influence overall passing volume and goal-line opportunities.
