This market will resolve to "Yes" if any player records an albatross at the 2026 Irish Open. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". Only an albatross recorded during official tournament rounds will be considered. No albatross recorded during practice rounds or any other period of play will be considered. If the tournament is postponed, this market will remain open until the tournament is completed. If the 2026 Irish Open is cancelled, or postponed after September 27, 2026 at 11:59PM ET, this market will resolve to "No". The primary resolution source will be the official results published by the DP World Tour website (https://www.europeantour.com/).Thomas Detry produced the decisive albatross on the par-5 tenth hole during the opening round at Trump International Golf Links Doonbeg, holing an approach from roughly 230 yards that utilized the rolling contours to reach the cup. This verified occurrence on the DP World Tour event has driven the overwhelming trader consensus reflected in the near-certain implied probability for a positive resolution. The four-round stroke-play format continues through the weekend with a strong field including Shane Lowry, Rory McIlroy, and Jon Rahm, yet the early confirmation leaves little scope for reversal. Only an unprecedented rules clarification or tournament cancellation could alter the outcome at this stage.
