Apple’s September 9 event is the dominant near-term catalyst for the Foldable iPhone Announced Price market, with supply-chain reports and analysts converging on a book-style design featuring a 5.5-inch outer OLED and roughly 7.8-inch inner OLED panel. Multiple credible estimates place the starting price at or above $2,000—TrendForce recently cited $2,099–$2,299—reflecting premium components, 12 GB RAM, storage tiers up to 2 TB, and a titanium hinge aimed at minimizing creases. This positions the device well above the iPhone 18 Pro Max and in line with or above Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold8 models, while initial production remains limited to a few hundred units daily. Traders are watching whether Apple names it iPhone Ultra and confirms availability timing, as any deviation from the $2,000–$2,500 consensus could shift market-implied odds ahead of the reveal.
