This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Singapore Changi Airport Station in degrees Celsius on 1 Sep '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=wsss If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C. This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.**Forecast models and recent observations position 32–33°C as the most likely peak temperatures for Singapore on September 1, 2026, aligning closely with the market’s heavy weighting toward these outcomes (combined ~93.5% implied probability).** Singapore’s equatorial climate produces consistently warm conditions, with afternoon highs typically modulated by humidity, cloud cover, sea breezes, and the south-west monsoon. Current data from August 31 show daytime readings near 29–31°C at Changi Airport and other stations, alongside elevated heat stress indices (WBGT values in the “black” category at multiple sites). Multiple forecasts for September 1 converge on highs of 31–33°C (89–91°F), driven by partly cloudy skies, light southerly winds, and only moderate thunderstorm chances that are unlikely to suppress peak readings significantly. Historical September averages hover near 31°C, but the ongoing El Niño influence and recent trend of more frequent high-heat-stress days have supported slightly elevated expectations. Traders appear to be pricing in the consensus range from official and ensemble models while assigning low probability to extremes, reflecting the limited day-to-day variability typical for the region and the absence of major disruptive weather signals in the latest guidance.
