Flávio Bolsonaro leads trader consensus for first place in the Federal District first round at 86.5% implied probability, well ahead of Lula at 14.5%, with other registered candidates such as Ronaldo Caiado, Romeu Zema, Renan Santos, and Augusto Cury trading far lower. Recent Datafolha and Igape surveys in the capital region show the Liberal Party senator ahead or competitive with the incumbent by margins of 8–11 points, driven by strong backing among federal public servants, military families, and conservative voters in Brasília. This local pattern contrasts with national polling where Lula maintains an edge, and it has held steady through late August despite ongoing campaign events and eligibility reviews for minor candidates. The first-round vote is scheduled for October 4.
