Sal Stewart of the Cincinnati Reds holds a commanding lead in the 2026 MLB RBI race with 106-107 runs batted in through early September, well ahead of contenders such as CJ Abrams, Pete Alonso, Yordan Alvarez, and others clustered near 95 or below. The 22-year-old rookie first baseman has driven in runs at a consistent clip while posting 31 home runs, an .818 OPS, and franchise rookie records broken in late August. Recent form shows steady production amid the Reds' schedule, including multi-RBI outings against the Cubs and strong on-base numbers that position him favorably for the final stretch. Traders reflect this gap through Stewart's dominant implied probability, though the abbreviated remaining season keeps secondary candidates in play if late surges materialize.
