Recent polling shows the Quebec election race for third place remains highly competitive ahead of the October 5 vote, with the CAQ, PLQ, and rising PCQ clustered within a few points of each other. The CAQ has slipped to third in multiple surveys after losing momentum, while the PLQ has rebounded slightly and the PCQ has climbed to around 17 percent. Regional variations, ongoing leaders’ debates, and undecided voters contribute to the uncertainty reflected in current trader consensus. Shifts in francophone support or turnout in key ridings could separate the contenders before election day.
