Cardi B and Kehlani’s “Safe” leads the VMA Best Hip-Hop category with 72% implied probability, driven by its strong streaming trajectory, rhythmic radio success, and visually striking music video released alongside the 2025 album *Am I the Drama?*. Traders see the track’s intimate R&B-leaning sound and cultural timing as giving it clear momentum over the other nominees. Megan Thee Stallion’s “Lover Girl” sits at 8.5% amid solid Hot 100 placement but less video buzz, while Drake’s “Janice STFU,” Tyler, the Creator’s “Sugar on My Tongue,” Travis Scott’s “Dumbo,” and Don Toliver’s “E85” trail at 4.5–6% on the strength of their respective fanbases and prior VMA nods. With the September 27 ceremony days away and Snoop Dogg hosting, late voter sentiment and final-week streaming spikes remain the key swing factors.
