The tightly bunched probabilities around 50% for Sonny Gray, Cristopher Sánchez, and a broad field of alternatives reflect a wide-open MLB wins race with roughly two weeks remaining. Gray and Sánchez are tied at 17 victories, with Gray posting a 17-5 mark and 2.76 ERA over 27 starts for the Red Sox while Sánchez sits at 17-6 with a 2.93 ERA across 31 outings for the Phillies. Multiple other qualified starters trail by just two or three wins, and each team's remaining schedule plus bullpen management will dictate final tallies. Recent strong outings by both leaders have kept them in front, yet the limited starts left and potential for late surges or workload adjustments sustain the competitive balance reflected in current trader pricing.
