Teresa Surita (MDB) holds the leading trader consensus for first place in Roraima’s October 4 Senate election, supported by her strong local profile as a multiple-term former mayor of Boa Vista and consistent top positioning in recent polling. A late-August Quaest survey showed her at 19% in combined intentions, narrowly ahead of federal deputy Nicoletti (PL) at 17% and Helena da Asatur (PSD) at 16%, with Chico Rodrigues (PSB) further back and Helio Bolsonaro (PL) at 5%. High undecided shares above 60% in spontaneous responses keep the field competitive, as voters weigh established state figures against newer or nationally associated names. Developments that could widen gaps include final candidate alliances, intensified local campaigning in the remaining weeks, or shifts in turnout among key municipal bases.
