Current forecast models from NOAA and the National Weather Service indicate persistent easterly flow and high precipitable water values over South Florida, supporting overnight lows in the upper 70s to low 80s for Miami on September 1 amid a moist tropical air mass. Recent influx of moisture from Tropical Storm Dolly remnants, combined with a stable surface ridge and limited nocturnal radiative cooling under humid conditions (dew points near 77–79°F), has kept temperatures elevated without significant cold advection or clearing skies. Trader consensus around 78–81°F reflects this stable late-summer pattern, with upside risk for slightly cooler readings if convection clears earlier than expected, though model agreement favors minimal deviation from climatological norms near 80°F.
