Recent polling shows the Parti Québécois leading overall while the race for third place remains fluid among the Parti libéral du Québec, Coalition Avenir Québec, and Parti conservateur du Québec. Multiple late-August and mid-September surveys place these three parties within a few points of one another in popular vote share, with regional variations in Montreal and Quebec City creating uncertainty about final standings. The CAQ has slipped in recent weeks, the PLQ has shown modest gains in some urban areas, and the PCQ has climbed to its highest levels yet, keeping the third-place outcome closely contested. Traders appear to view the Liberals as having the strongest positioning for third based on current momentum and seat-projection models, though small shifts in turnout or late-campaign developments could alter the order before the October 5 vote.
