Ruth González Silva leads the San Luis Potosí governor race at 60.5% amid PVEM's decision to break from the Morena-PT coalition and back the sitting senator as its candidate for 2027. Recent public endorsements from Governor Ricardo Gallardo Cardona, combined with ongoing social outreach and party registration processes, have reinforced her position despite Morena's internal anti-nepotism rules blocking her from its primary. Lower-priced contenders such as Gerardo Sánchez Zumaya and Aid Ávila Covarrubias reflect fragmented opposition support and limited recent polling momentum, while the broader field remains dispersed pending national party alliances and candidate definitions ahead of the June election. Trader pricing captures these coalition dynamics and the absence of major late shifts.
