BTS’ “Swim” stands as the clear frontrunner in the 2026 VMA Best K-Pop category with dominant market-implied odds, driven by the group’s unmatched history of four consecutive wins from 2019 to 2022 and the track’s strong commercial performance. The lead single from their album Arirang debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and earned an additional Song of the Year nomination, reinforcing industry momentum and voter familiarity. Other nominees including BLACKPINK’s “Jump,” Lisa’s “Dream,” Le Sserafim’s “Spaghetti,” Cortis’ “RedRed,” and Katseye’s “Pinky Up” remain in contention, yet lack comparable recent chart dominance or category precedent. With the Sept. 27 ceremony approaching, traders appear to be pricing in BTS’s established fan engagement and critical reception as decisive factors.
