In the event which there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C. This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.**Forecast models and official guidance position a high near 22°C as the most likely outcome for London on September 1, with traders assigning the highest implied probability (50%) to 23°C.** The Met Office and several global models indicate a high-pressure ridge bringing light westerly winds, mostly cloudy skies, and limited daytime heating after a cool overnight low near 13–16°C. This setup favors modest warming to the low-20s Celsius range, consistent with early-September climatology. Recent model runs show minor spread between 20–23°C depending on cloud cover and exact timing of any weak frontal passage, which explains the concentrated market pricing on 22–23°C while assigning lower odds to 24°C or cooler outcomes. Updated guidance from monitoring agencies will refine resolution thresholds ahead of the 24-hour maximum reading.
