Ismael Burgueño Ruiz leads trader pricing at 39.5% for the 2027 Baja California gubernatorial election, ahead of Julieta Ramírez Padilla at 25.8%, with the broader field fragmented below 7%. Morena maintains a commanding ~40% party preference in recent surveys, more than double the PAN, positioning its eventual nominee as the strong favorite. Multiple mid-2026 polls show Burgueño and Ramírez trading narrow leads in Morena internal preference, driven by Burgueño’s visibility as Tijuana mayor and Ramírez’s Senate profile, while other aspirants like Montserrat Caballero Ramírez and Juan Carlos Hank trail significantly. The tight market reflects ongoing nomination uncertainty ahead of party selection processes, with limited separation until clearer signals emerge on coalition alignment or additional polling shifts.
