Recent National Weather Service and model consensus forecasts for Dallas on September 1 project a high near 99–100°F under sunny to mostly clear skies with light southeast winds and heat indices reaching 105°F. Persistent late-summer high pressure and above-average temperatures across North Texas support this range, with minimal cloud cover or precipitation expected to limit cooling. These conditions align closely with the market’s leading 98–99°F bin while leaving room for minor upward revisions if afternoon heating exceeds guidance, explaining the secondary weighting on 100–101°F. Official updates from the NWS Dallas/Fort Worth office will provide the final verification data.
