Recent polling shows the Parti Québécois holding a steady lead near 29 percent, while the Coalition Avenir Québec and Parti libéral du Québec remain closely matched in the low-to-mid 20s, leaving the battle for third place highly sensitive to small shifts. The CAQ has lost recent momentum amid voter fatigue and campaign dynamics, allowing the PLQ a modest rebound, yet both parties trail the PQ and sit well ahead of the rising Parti conservateur du Québec. Ongoing debates and regional variations in support continue to influence seat projections, with traders viewing either the CAQ or PLQ as the likeliest third-place finisher. Further movement in voter preferences before the October 5 vote could clarify the order among these contenders.
