The redrawn boundaries of Florida's 14th congressional district, now confined to Hillsborough County and leaning Republican based on 2024 presidential results, frame the November 3 general election matchup between longtime Democratic incumbent Kathy Castor and Republican nominee Mike Beltran. Castor's two-decade tenure, strong name recognition, and early polling leads contribute to her position as the market favorite, while Beltran's August primary victory as a former state representative provides a platform for the challenger in a seat targeted by Republican mapmakers. Mixed race ratings from outlets like Cook Political Report and Sabato’s Crystal Ball reflect the competitive dynamics ahead of the general election.

A candidate's party will be determined by their ballot-listed or otherwise identifiable affiliation with that party at the time all of the 2026 House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources. A candidate without a ballot-listed affiliation to either the Democrat or Republican parties will be considered a member of one of these parties based on the party with which they most recently expressed their intent to caucus at the time all of the House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources.
