Apple’s anticipated foldable iPhone, widely expected to debut at the September 9, 2026 event alongside iPhone 18 Pro models, drives current trader focus on its announced starting price. Supply-chain reports and analysts including Ming-Chi Kuo consistently cite a book-style design with roughly 5.5-inch outer and 7.8-inch inner OLED displays, A20-series silicon, and premium materials that push pricing into the $2,000–$2,500 range, with higher-storage tiers potentially exceeding $2,900. This premium positioning reflects Apple’s strategy of entering the foldable market late but with superior hinge durability and reduced crease compared to Samsung Galaxy Z Fold and Google Pixel Fold competitors. Limited early production volumes and the event’s proximity heighten sensitivity to any last-minute pricing leaks or official confirmation.
