Recent polling in Amazonas shows Capitão Alberto Neto (PL) leading consolidated first- and second-preference votes for the two Senate seats, positioning him as the frontrunner ahead of the October 4 election and leaving the second-place outcome contested among Eduardo Braga (MDB), Wilson Lima (União Brasil), and Plínio Valério (PSDB). Braga benefits from incumbency and broad name recognition across Manaus and the interior, while Lima draws on his former governorship and Wilson Lima draws on his former governorship and regional base; Valério maintains support as an incumbent senator. High undecided shares in spontaneous polls and varying rejection rates keep second-place probabilities fluid, with trader consensus reflecting these narrow polling margins rather than any decisive shift in alliances or campaign momentum.
