Official forecasts from the National Weather Service and multiple models indicate a high near 71–73°F for Seattle on September 1 under partly sunny skies with light southwest winds and minimal cloud cover. This places the outcome squarely within the market’s leading bins, as persistent high pressure maintains seasonal late-summer warmth before an incoming Gulf of Alaska low brings rain and cooling midweek. Seattle’s marine climate and typical September climatology (average high ~74°F) further support these values, while model consensus shows little spread and low risk of outliers above 75°F or below 68°F. Traders are weighting the latest NWS guidance and short-range model runs heavily, with implied probabilities reflecting the narrow forecast envelope ahead of tomorrow’s observation.
