In the event which there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Fahrenheit (eg, 21°F). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.Official forecasts from the National Weather Service and multiple models indicate a high near 71–73°F for Seattle on September 1 under partly sunny skies with light southwest winds and minimal cloud cover. This places the outcome squarely within the market’s leading bins, as persistent high pressure maintains seasonal late-summer warmth before an incoming Gulf of Alaska low brings rain and cooling midweek. Seattle’s marine climate and typical September climatology (average high ~74°F) further support these values, while model consensus shows little spread and low risk of outliers above 75°F or below 68°F. Traders are weighting the latest NWS guidance and short-range model runs heavily, with implied probabilities reflecting the narrow forecast envelope ahead of tomorrow’s observation.
