Recent polling in Amapá shows Rayssa Furlan (Podemos) holding a substantial lead for one of the two Senate seats, with 56% support in the latest Paraná Pesquisas survey and 27-43% depending on the first-vote framing in Quaest, far ahead of Randolfe Rodrigues (PT) and Lucas Barreto (PSD). Her position benefits from strong name recognition as former first lady of Macapá, her husband’s dominant gubernatorial numbers, and consistent double-digit advantages across demographics in surveys conducted in late August. The two-seat system and voter allowance for multiple choices keep the second spot more competitive, but traders view Furlan’s polling edge and campaign momentum as the dominant factor in her elevated implied probability for first place ahead of the October election.
