If the results of the specified election are not definitively known by March 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to the lowest range bracket. All votes certified for candidates or non-candidate options in the specified election are included. Invalidated or blank votes are not included. In ranked-choice or preferential systems, the first-round vote total will be used. The primary resolution source for this market will be the official results of the 2026 midterm election for Senator from Florida, as published by the state electoral authority responsible for certifying the results of the election; however, an overwhelming consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Florida's 2026 U.S. Senate special election between Republican incumbent Ashley Moody and Democrat Angie Nixon features closely matched probabilities centered on the 7.75M–8.25M turnout range, driven by uncertainty over no-party-affiliation voter mobilization and partisan participation gaps. The August primary produced roughly 25% statewide turnout with a Republican edge in ballots cast despite lower overall participation, while Moody maintains a polling lead reflecting the state's post-2024 rightward shift. Early and mail voting patterns, registration advantages, and midterm enthusiasm levels among key demographics sustain tight trader consensus, with separation likely hinging on get-out-the-vote intensity or last-minute independent shifts ahead of the November 3 general election.
