Recent National Weather Service forecasts for downtown Los Angeles and coastal zones on September 1 project highs mainly in the mid-70s to low-80s°F under partly cloudy skies transitioning to sunny conditions, driven by moderate southwest winds and marine layer influence that limits extreme heating. This consensus aligns with climatological September averages near 76–77°F at official stations, positioning the 76–77°F bin as the market leader while cooler 74–75°F outcomes retain secondary support from potential stronger onshore flow. No heat wave or anomalous warming signals appear in model runs, keeping higher bins at low implied probabilities. Updated NWS briefings and morning observations tomorrow will provide final inputs before resolution.
