Bob Brooks holds a strong lead in trader assessments for Pennsylvania’s 7th Congressional District, reflecting his decisive May 2026 Democratic primary victory, union endorsements, and positioning as a working-class candidate in a district that narrowly supported Donald Trump in 2024. Incumbent Ryan Mackenzie advanced unopposed in the Republican primary after his narrow 2024 win, but the seat remains a top-tier battleground with heavy national party spending and a Cook Political Report toss-up rating. Recent developments include Brooks outraising Mackenzie in the second quarter while the Republican maintains a cash edge, plus an October 21 debate that could shape late momentum. Analysts rate the race near even based on polling averages, though trader consensus implies a clearer Democratic edge ahead of the November general election.

A candidate's party will be determined by their ballot-listed or otherwise identifiable affiliation with that party at the time all of the 2026 House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources. A candidate without a ballot-listed affiliation to either the Democrat or Republican parties will be considered a member of one of these parties based on the party with which they most recently expressed their intent to caucus at the time all of the House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources.
This market will resolve based on the result of the election as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the United States government, specifically the Federal Election Commission (https://www.fec.gov/).
