Despite Patrick Roath’s advantages in fundraising, progressive endorsements from groups including the Boston Globe editorial board and David Hogg’s Leaders We Deserve, and a platform focused on generational change, healthcare expansion, and criticism of Lynch’s record on issues such as immigration and the Affordable Care Act, voter support favored the incumbent’s established coalition. With results showing Lynch ahead by double-digit margins as counts progressed, trader consensus at 97 percent aligns with the confirmed outcome while leaving limited room for procedural delays such as final certification or any unforeseen recount in the safe blue seat.
