Lula leads the race for first place in Amapá’s October 4 first-round presidential vote according to trader consensus, reflecting a narrow advantage in the most recent state-specific polling. The late-August Quaest survey commissioned by Rede Amazônica showed the PT incumbent at 36% against Flávio Bolsonaro (PL) at 33%, with all other tested names—including Ronaldo Caiado, Renan Santos, Pablo Marçal, and Escritor Augusto Cury—registering 3% or lower amid 14% undecided and 8% blank or null. Earlier July data from Real Time Big Data produced a similar Lula–Flávio split. National aggregators continue to place Lula modestly ahead of his main challenger overall, while the start of free electoral broadcasts on August 28 and limited debate participation have not yet produced measurable shifts in Amapá. Lower-polling candidates remain marginal given persistent single-digit or sub-1% readings and the concentration of preferences on the two frontrunners.
