Recent forecast guidance from NOAA and regional models shows Denver's overnight low for September 1 centering near 59–60°F after evening showers clear, allowing moderate radiational cooling under mostly clear skies with light winds and dew points in the mid-50s. This places the minimum in a narrow band where small variations in cloud cover, wind speed, or urban heat island effects can shift the exact reading by 2–3°F, driving balanced market-implied odds across 56–61°F outcomes. Historical September 1 averages near 55°F provide context, yet current atmospheric conditions favor the higher side of the range while leaving room for model divergence on timing of clearing.
