**The tight spread between the 17°C-or-below (55%) and 18°C (53.5%) outcomes reflects model and observational uncertainty in Sao Paulo’s overnight minimum on August 31.** Official Brazilian forecasts from IPMet project a 17°C low amid an approaching cold front that is enhancing radiational cooling under partly cloudy skies, while several global models cluster between 16–18°C depending on exact wind speeds, humidity levels near 80–90%, and cloud cover that limits further temperature drops. Recent August trends have shown minima 3–5°C above the 12°C climatological average due to persistent warmth, but the front’s timing creates the key variable that will determine whether the mercury settles at or below 17°C by dawn. Final readings from official stations will resolve the market once the calendar day ends.

The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the lowest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=sbgr
If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source.
In the event which there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket.
To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C.
This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source.
The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market.
Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
