This market will resolve according to the total number of valid votes cast in the 2026 midterm election for Senator from Delaware. If the reported value falls exactly between two brackets, then this market will resolve to the higher range bracket. If the results of the specified election are not definitively known by March 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to the lowest range bracket. All votes certified for candidates or non-candidate options in the specified election are included. Invalidated or blank votes are not included. In ranked-choice or preferential systems, the first-round vote total will be used. The primary resolution source for this market will be the official results of the 2026 midterm election for Senator from Delaware, as published by the state electoral authority responsible for certifying the results of the election; however, an overwhelming consensus of credible reporting may also be used.In the low-salience 2026 Delaware U.S. Senate contest, incumbent Democrat Chris Coons faces Republican Michael Katz in a race rated Solid Democratic by forecasters, with trader consensus clustering around 325K–425K total votes cast. The September 15 primary just days away and the general election two months out have produced limited campaign intensity and no major mobilization signals. Historical midterm turnout patterns, Delaware’s modest eligible voter pool of roughly 771,000 registered voters, and the absence of competitive statewide races or national flashpoints support baseline expectations near or modestly above 2022 levels. Expanded early voting and Democratic registration advantages provide a floor, while primary results, election-day weather, or late national developments could shift probabilities by altering enthusiasm or participation in key counties.
