The Roraima Senate race for the second seat remains tightly contested ahead of the October 4 election, with voters selecting two candidates in a single round. A late August Quaest poll showed Teresa Surita (MDB) at 19%, Nicoletti (PL) at 17%, and Helena da Asatur (PSD) at 16% in combined vote intentions, all within the three-point margin of error, while Chico Rodrigues (PSB) registered 11% and Hélio Bolsonaro (PL) stood at 5%. High undecided levels, reaching 67% in spontaneous responses, leave room for shifts from turnout patterns, last-minute alliances, or voter consolidation among the 13 registered candidates. These polling dynamics and the fragmented field sustain market prices clustered near even odds for the leading contenders for second place.
