The race for second place in Roraima’s October 4 Senate election remains tightly contested among Nicoletti (PL), Teresa Surita (MDB), and Helena da Asatur (PSD), with recent Quaest polling showing them clustered within the margin of error at 17-19% in combined two-vote estimates and 67% undecided in spontaneous responses. The dual-ballot system, a fragmented field of 13 candidates, and voters’ ability to split choices across parties sustain volatility, as modest shifts in turnout or consolidation of undecided support can reorder the ranking behind the likely leader. Trader consensus reflected in current pricing highlights these frontrunners’ name recognition and institutional backing while assigning low probability to Chico Rodrigues and others, underscoring how late-campaign alliances, regional mobilization, or further polling releases could widen gaps before election day.
