Recent polling shows the PCQ maintaining 14-16% support provincially, with particular strength in the Quebec City region where it often leads or ties the PQ and CAQ. This regional concentration supports a core of winnable ridings under first-past-the-post rules, yet seat outcomes remain sensitive to small shifts in multi-party contests and vote efficiency. The election on October 5 features a fragmented field with the PQ, CAQ, and PLQ also competing for the same francophone voters, keeping PCQ totals in a narrow band. Further regional polling, campaign momentum in Capitale-Nationale, or changes in turnout patterns could widen or narrow the range by clarifying how efficiently PCQ votes convert into seats across tight ridings.
